Jennifer Davis is an experienced systems engineer, speaker, and author. Her books include Modern System Administration, Effective DevOps, and Collaborating in DevOps Culture.
Jennifer is passionate about building community from organizing conferences to meetups. She is a core organizer of devopsdays and organizes the Silicon Valley event. She is the founder of CoffeeOps. She has helped organize AWS Community Day in Silicon Valley, as well as Serverless Days Seattle. Previously, she led the BayLISA organization.
Jennifer is currently a Developer Relations Manager at Google managing the Serverless DPE team. Previously, she was a cloud advocate at Microsoft, principal site reliability engineer at RealSelf, developed cookbooks to simplify building and managing infrastructure at Chef, and built reliable service platforms at Yahoo.
